T.V. is Dead

Carnac the Magnificent will never die! He has risen like a phoenix! We will all miss Johnny but the show must go on. Luke is willing to carry the torch. 

There is nothing better than having pizza with Friends. 

Here we are celebrating "Fathers Wear Brown Pants and Take Pictures Holding Their Babies" day. HUZZAH! 

Eli and Luke prepare for their American Idol try-out. I guess you could say that they are going for the whole, "Boy Band" thing. Eli is really getting in to his solo, hand motions and all.

I wanted to post some of the other pictures we took Friday when we visited Elijah at the hospital. We went by their house today and they were doing great. Noah said that he was telling folks to come by the site to see Eli pics so, "Hello Folks."  

Elijah Makes His Debut!!

We are happy to welcome Elijah Monroe Truett to our group of friends. He was born just after 3:00 p.m. weighing 6lbs. and 6 ounces and measuring up at 19 and 1/2 inches. He is so handsome. Mom and Dad are doing fine and looking forward to a night of sleep before the trip home.(Where we all know that the sleep times are few and far between.)
On a odd side note, Luke and Eli had a nap together, cried together and had a drink together.( Not from the same person sickos, just in the same room) That's what friends are for!

Happy New Year!

Well it is New Years everybody and we wanna welcome you all to 2005. What better way to ring in the New Year than going dancing?
Luke wanted to go out to the "Club La Moo".
This guy can tear up a dance floor. John Travolta can go ahead and hang up those boogie shoes . Luke started the party with a real crowd pleaser.

"FIRECRACKER,"

"FIRECRACKER," 

"SIS," 

"BOOM - BAH!!!!!" He could have danced for hours but he got a little thirsty. 

Talk about your party animal, this guy drinks straight from the "tap"! He woulda' gone like that all night but the "bartender" cut him off.
"One more man, just one more shot. I can handle it."
Things were starting to get ugly.

Yeah, he's had too much to drink. What a lightweight! 

After such a long night, I layed him down for a second while we got ready for bed. Little did I know that Luke wasn't ready to let the party stop. He must have made a mad dash for the fridge for a "night cap". No one likes to admit when they have a problem but you gotta know whe to say when, man. 

As you can see, he didn't like it when I tried to take it away. Nobody likes an angry drunk. Take'er easy, Dude! 

After a few drinks, Luke likes to talk loudly about all of the girls that "held" him and how he "nuzzled" on all of them. Yeah, it's embarrassing but hey, he's a guy right? 

One sign of a problem is not knowing when to quit. This long night finally seems to be getting the best of Luke. 

Yeah, he's gonna have a hang-over for sure.
