We Wanna Get Remarried!

We just got home from the Pregnancy picture shoot by our friend Cindy Robertson. Cindy and Roger own a wedding chapel in Virginia Mines called "Somewhere in Time".
It was raining so we didn't get a lot of pics on the outside (plus Mandy and I were running late, as usual.)Cindy took a few pics with our digital camera so that we could post them here as soon as possible. We can't wait to see the 35mm shot she took in both color and B&W.
The chapel was awesome. It feels like something out of a movie. Everything has an antique look about it. You can tell that they put a lot of time and effort into remodeling the place. We have already begun to plan our 10 year anniversary-vow renewal with this place in mind. I don't think they have a web site but if they do I will make a link to it.
In other news, we go tomorrow for another check up. If Luke is still breach like he was last week, they will plan the C-section for Friday! If not, they may induce on Friday! Either way, we are in the home stretch you could say. I will keep things updated, I promise!

Kids do the darndest things! Usually they do them in public as if they do it at home all the time and you are totally cool with it.
Oh well, what can you say except, "Eat'em up while you can!"  

Stop Horsing Around

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. You get to do a lot of that when you paint.
I can't wait to see the look on Lukes face the first time he tastes a lemon, or an orange, or chocolate. What about the first time he eats Mexican? Hot Peppers! Think of all the hilarious moments ahead! All kinds of great pics.

Lukes First Glamour Shot!

This is a picture of the actual ultrasound. Yes folks, he already seems to have a head of hair! And apparently he likes to blow kisses for the camera. Only 2 to 3 weeks left according to the doctor so we have started packing the bags for the trip to St.Vincents Hospital.The excitement builds!

I am just curious, is anyone reading this blog except me? Why isn't anyone posting comments? Is there a reason? I should find one of those hit counters. That would be the easiest way but I feel kinda creepy keeping up with that info unless it is given voluntarily. Give suggestions folks. (or just post a comment)

They Grow Up So Fast

Mandy had the final sonagram yesterday! The doctors said that he would be very active now, kicking punching, hiccuping, even making faces!.They said that he would already be developing habits. I can't believe how well developed he is! Only three more weeks!Sorry kid, no smoking in the house.

I am sorry that we haven't posted in almost a week but it sure has been busy. Changes in job situations, changes in room colors, changes all over the place.

Baby Clothes Mountain

Okay, it is now 11:30 and I have been sorting through the shower gifts for over 2 hours now. This is incredible!
I am obviously new at this, being that I am a guy and this is my first child but hey, 93 people giving multiple gifts each is an amazing amout of gifts!
I don't know 93 people. I can't ever think of 93 different names. I am overwhelmed with love for all of you. I hope we get out all of the Thank You cards soon and that no one is over looked. We really do appreciate all of this.
Now I am overcome with guilt. I feel so undeserving. I want to send out checks to everyone. Mandy keeps telling me that it comes around when each person has a shower of one type or another but what if someone never has one? Never gets married or never has kids? Aarrgghh!!
It all sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Wasn't that outlawed in the 80's or something?
Oh well, I shouldn't complain about gifts. That is what they are, things given to you freely. No expectations of repayment.
You folks are awesome. God really shines through all of you. I pray that he blesses each of you for your outpouring of love. Luke is lucky to have all of you watching out for him. Wow, I am gushing here, sorry.

We put our names on the waiting list for a daycare. Pray that we get in because it looks super cool. They even have a webcam in the play area so we can watch him play while we are at work! Give it a look see.
