Howdy! (No Brokeback Mountain jokes, please)

Fifteen months and making his skating debut. Luke wanted to give it a try while mom vaccumed out the van.

If you can't ride the skateboard, let the skateboard ride you. He fell a few seconds later and now has a skint up chin from the griptape. First of many booboos. 

This one is for Lukes Godfather, Sam. We finally have enough hair to "comb".

This is the gang from Winter Retreat '06. We had a great time without ANY problems! Amazing Speaker, Music, and youth group.

Mom and I hanging out on the Youth retreat. It was nice to have some time away from Luke but 2 days was hard for us. Oh yeah, I grew a beard.

This is a little late for Christmas pics but this one is just too funny. I hope the turkey baster wasn't a real present.

Waiting in Line for Santa can take a while. I wish we could all have Lukes cool persona during the Christmas season.

Luke was very happy to be in Santa's lap. A little too happy. Maybe I should have the whole "Talking to Strangers" talk a little sooner than expected. 

Hanging out like a normal family is sooooo cool. For those of you who get to do this all the time, I am so jealous. We are doing great here at the Hays family household. Mandy is out of the cast and is now wearing a brace. She has begun to drive and work (in a limited capacity) which has really helped the general mood around here. We are so blessed to have such a great group of friends and family who have really gone above and beyond in helping us in so many ways. One day we will repay all of you somehow. Maybe one day we will fully explain all of this crazy, horrible ride we have been on for three months but we praise the Lord for his faithfulness in the trials and the triumphs.
