I have been doing a lot of thinking lately. You get to do a lot of that when you paint.
I can't wait to see the look on Lukes face the first time he tastes a lemon, or an orange, or chocolate. What about the first time he eats Mexican? Hot Peppers! Think of all the hilarious moments ahead! All kinds of great pics.
Maybe I will wait till he can decide for himself on the ice cream. Click the header of the post and tell me what you think.

HELLO?
I am just curious, is anyone reading this blog except me? Why isn't anyone posting comments? Is there a reason? I should find one of those hit counters. That would be the easiest way but I feel kinda creepy keeping up with that info unless it is given voluntarily. Give suggestions folks. (or just post a comment)

What else can I say? Stop reading this now and click on the header to go to this incredible site. This is the most haunting, painfully beautiful writing I have read, period.

THE JIG IS UP!
I am sorry that we haven't posted in almost a week but it sure has been busy. Changes in job situations, changes in room colors, changes all over the place.
I found this pic on WAXY.org. If you hang around me very long, you have heard me rave about this site. Andy pulled the pic from MYCRAZYLIFE.com.
I absolutely cannot wait for moments like this. Kids are awesome.
See you all soon.

Pat Morita once announced that, " Dogs LOVE trucks!" (Nissans obviously) but I have found photographic proof that, " Goats LOVE GMC's!"
Man this pic just screams out for jokes.
The Goat family heads out for a Sunday Dinner at the You-Pick-and-Pay Sod farm and buffet.
Go ahead, add your own.
I found this pic at joaquino.blogspot. "Hey Jon, congrats on your mom coming home! You look REAL happy about it."

Baby Clothes Mountain
Okay, it is now 11:30 and I have been sorting through the shower gifts for over 2 hours now. This is incredible!
I am obviously new at this, being that I am a guy and this is my first child but hey, 93 people giving multiple gifts each is an amazing amout of gifts!
I don't know 93 people. I can't ever think of 93 different names. I am overwhelmed with love for all of you. I hope we get out all of the Thank You cards soon and that no one is over looked. We really do appreciate all of this.
Now I am overcome with guilt. I feel so undeserving. I want to send out checks to everyone. Mandy keeps telling me that it comes around when each person has a shower of one type or another but what if someone never has one? Never gets married or never has kids? Aarrgghh!!
It all sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Wasn't that outlawed in the 80's or something?
Oh well, I shouldn't complain about gifts. That is what they are, things given to you freely. No expectations of repayment.
You folks are awesome. God really shines through all of you. I pray that he blesses each of you for your outpouring of love. Luke is lucky to have all of you watching out for him. Wow, I am gushing here, sorry.

Dreamy Daycare
Daycare Webcam
We put our names on the waiting list for a daycare. Pray that we get in because it looks super cool. They even have a webcam in the play area so we can watch him play while we are at work! Give it a look see.

Music to My Ears?!
ironandwine
We wanted to try out the links on the blog but we weren't sure what our first link would be.
I guess I get to decide since she fell asleep.
this band is what Mandy requested to be played in the delivery room to soothe her during the long hours and to drown out the screaming and name calling during the rough ones.
I hope you enjoy. Mp3s are in the discography section and videos are in the images section. Give them a look see.

Wishful Thinking
I was just thinking about what you will look like, Luke. I hope that you have your daddy's beautiful blue eyes and straight teeth! I also hope that you have his sense of humor and can tell stories like he can. I am sure that you will have your own distinct features and traits.

Labor Day greetings
Happy Labor Day, Luke! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at your Grandma Lois & Grandpa Bill's house. Your Uncle Brad and Aunt Stephanie was there, as well as your cousins Aly & Emy.
Dad is out cutting the grass right now. Your Nanna and Mammaw are on their way up to help clean up the living room. We have made such a mess of the house, trying to get ready for you coming home. We promise by the time you make it here, everything will be in its' place.
I love you and can't wait to hold you!
